31 December 1909. Just as Peter Pan is about to take to the stage in a brand-new theatre, a very different drama is unfolding behind the scenes… Following a private recital given by the sister of the wealthy owner, Philip Somerset, he is found dead, locked alone in his drawing room. Murder? Obviously. But then… who? In other words: the murderer is in the room. It’s straight out of Cluedo, but with Victorian moustaches and witty dialogue.
Among the suspects: the novelist Arthur Conan Doyle, the playwright George Bernard Shaw, the theatre director Bram Stoker… Suffice to say, the investigation promises to be as sophisticated as it is explosive! A Cluedo-style closed-door mystery where everyone is more ambiguous than they seem, where antagonisms clash in a battle of wits, and where, amid humour and moods, surprises and twists follow one another to better surprise and confuse us. Will you be able to find the murderer?
The killer was almost perfect!
